General Rules:

4. No spamming.

5. Basically just behave and play nice with others and everyone will have fun.

6. No advertising outside of the Link Exchange.

Character Registration Rules

1. Please use the template. If you do not use the template you will not be approved and will be unable to participate in role playing posts.

2. Don't pm an Admin to be approved, unless it's been a day or two, and we have been online. We'll get to them if we are online.

3. Don't be another cliche, this rpg has a lot of room for creativity. And keep in mind that the brooding, self-pitying characters who seek revenge do get old fast.


Rping Rules


1. No God Modeing. You don't like it when people do it to you, so please don't do it to others. If your unsure of what god modeing is, here is an example:

-(Bobby is the God Moder) Bobby hit Mike in the chin and Mike flew back into a wall and died.

-Bobby kicked Joe and Joe fell over and cried like a baby.

A. How would you know what Joe is going to do if you kick him? Maybe your kick didn't even hurt Joe, it's for Joe to answer. We have dice rolling apps built into the reply function. There is no need to argue over combat.

2. Please no chat/slang talk, i.e:

-Sally said “OMGZ! ROFLOL!!!!!!111” <NO! That kind of talk is not for an RP

3. For the sake of clarity and so that no one is left confused, all RPs should take place in the third person past tense.

Experience

1. Darkness Rising focuses on more than just combat.

2. You don't gain experience on post count or how many other players you pick fights with, MODs and ADMINs will award experience (xp) based on quality of posts, successful monster/enemy defeats and major event completion.


Advertisement Rules

1. Do not join simply to advertise. That will result in an immediate deletion and ban of your account.

2. You don't need an account to advertise. Guests can advertise within the Link Exchange. Be sure to follow all advertising guidelines before posting your ad.
