The sun was high in the sky by the time Kazaha arrived at the small village of the Kelshi. It had taken him a day and half's running to get here, with the extra trouble of a pack of wolf's he was attacked by earlier. On the plus side he had managed to get three fine pelts out of the mess, however on the downside the alpha male seem to have slipped from his grasp. Chances we're they would try and ambush him on his way back.

Kazaha made his way into the village, the three pelt's hanging over his shoulder. He might trade them in why he was here, however weather he did or not it did not matter, his wallet was nice and heavy, with Gold peices from the work done he had done in Arcadia. It was a nice village full of Kelshie's and traders. Kazaha stopped to ask a trader where he could find the magicite he was after and was pointed in the direction of the village chief's hut.

"knock knock" Kazaha said as he pushed aside the curtain to the hut and entered, pelts still over his shoulder and spear in hand. the chief was sitting there crossed legged. "What can I do to get some magicite from you" Kazaha asked in a polite manner? The primer said the kelshi were peaceful people however he was still on guard.

"You'd have to speak to me" answered Ex as he emerged from a shadowy corner, held in his magically constructed metal hand was a large crude piece of crystal that glowed an eerie sickly green.

The mercenary walked over to stand between the Elder and the spear carrier. He looked the man once over and gave an unimpressed snort.

"Charming" Kazaha thought tempted to role his eyes in disgust at the newcomers childish nature. Either way he needed the good's and this man had it by the looks of it.

"What will it cost me" Kazaha asked the newcomer, staring straight at him. The village chief hadn't said anything, but was clearly still breathing. To Kazaha that was a good sign. Possibly meant this new comer wasn't a thug out for blood.

"Cost?" Ex seemed a little taken aback at the question, "It won't 'cost' you anything my good man"

Ex tossed the Magicite casually through the air at Kazaha, not caring wether he caught it or not, yet smiling smally at that sharp intake of breath from the Kelshi Elder behind him.

"There's another coming, he too seeks the Magicite" explained the mercenary, "I don't care how you do it, but I don't want him to make it back to River City"

Kazaha caught the magicite, with his gauntlet and put it in his pouch within his undershirt. He was a bit taken back by the man's statement when he mentioned it wouldn't cost him a thing, as was the elder by the looks of things. Of course as he had learned from past events, nothing is free in this world.

A small smile almost rose from Kazaha lips. For once a catch that didn't involve large amount's of travel and trade or beast slaying. "So tell me then, good sir. What does this other mercenary look like" Kazaha asked with a bit more vigor in his voice? His opinion of the new comer had changed dramatically.

"Sorry mate, that's all I can tell ya" answered Ex, he pushed past the armoured man and moved for the door, "Guess you'll just have to find him yourself"

And with that the one armed mercenary was gone.
